CLEVELAND, September 7, 2016 - The Lubrizol Corporation announces it will exhibit at the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) Advanced Textiles Expo, to be held at the Charlotte Convention Center October 18-21 in Charlotte, NC. As a dedicated show for advanced textiles and specialty fabrics, the event brings together leaders from the industry and provides Lubrizol an excellent opportunity to showcase its coating, fiber and film technologies for textiles. The Lubrizol exhibit will be located in booth A222 where company representatives will present advanced fabric and coating technologies for applications such as performance apparel, protective textiles, transportation fabrics and materials, home furnishings and printed fabrics.
"Lubrizol collaborates with customers to create multifunctional, water-borne coating formulations that enable new levels of performance for today's textiles," states Matthew Dudas, global market segment manager, Lubrizol Performance Coatings. "The Advanced Textiles Expo allows us to meet with customers to discuss their dynamic fabric challenges and explore how Lubrizol's innovative coatings help meet those needs, including comfort, breathability, water repellency, flame retardancy, appearance and hand feel."
Additionally, Lubrizol will highlight new developments from Lubrizol's Engineered Polymers business for coated and laminated textiles. "At this year's show, pioneering hot melt adhesives, breathable films and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified grades of a new fiber from Lubrizol, X4zol(TM)-J, will be on display," says Cathy Knowles, global market segment manager, Lubrizol Engineered Polymers. "Discussions with customers at IFAI allow us to further explore the development of engineered polymer solutions that can solve tough textile challenges or create entirely new fabric solutions".
